WEST HULL: A man tried to grab a women's handbag as she walked past a city cemetery.

The 29-year-old was in Chanterlands Avenue, heading towards Cottingham Road, when the man approached. He ran off empty-handed and the woman was unhurt.

The incident happened at 11.30am on Saturday, October 10.

The man was wearing scruffy dark clothing, black gloves with a white tick, and had a hat or hood on.
