THREE teenage girls were robbed as they walked along a Coventry street.
The girls, aged 14 and 15, were forced to take off their rings and hand them to the robbers, both young women, who also stole cash.
They were targeted by the two women, described as in their late teens, who pulled up alongside them in a car as they walked in Westhill Road, Coundon, towards a friend's house, at 9.45pm on Friday, May 28.
Monogram canvas Fake HandbagsDC Tony Kelly, of Little Park Street police CID, said: "The victims were walking on the road, a black vehicle rolled up, two females got out, Mens Cufflinks threatened them and took property off them."
No violence was used. The thieves escaped with pounds 30, rings, and a pink handbag.
He said a number of people were in the area at the time and urged anyone who saw anything to come forward.
Both robbers were in their late teens. One was white, slim, blonde and 5ft to 5ft 4in. She was wearing a black jacket, skin-tight trousers and white trainers.

The other robber was of mixed race, slim, between 5ft 2in and 5ft 6in with curly brown hair. She was wearing a grey hooded top, blue Adidas jogging bottoms and white trainers.
