IDO Security, Inc. (OTCBB: IDOI)( ), developer of the innovative MagShoe(TM)"shoes-on" weapons metal detection system, announced today that the companyhas demonstrated the MagShoe(TM) to a delegation of U.S. and Canadianairport executives.
IDO Security gave a live, on site demonstration to the delegates last weekat the Ben Gurion International Airport. The delegation was comprised ofsix U.S. and Canadian airport executives who were visiting as guests of the Israel Export and InternationalCooperation Institute and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order toexamine Israeli airport security.
According to one Export Institute Official, the delegation includedexecutives from airports in Canada, Ohio, and Alabama, as well as the UnderSecretary of Homeland Security for Science and Technology and the VicePresident of the Airports Council International - North America.
Export Institute Director, General Avi Hefetz, told the Israeli NewspaperGlobes that the U.S. Government's security budget for 2010 is more than $55billion, including $7.7 billion for transportation security. The Generalalso estimated the potential share of this market for Israeli companies atclose to $300 million.
